Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
1. Acceptance
By using the Helios Assistants website or services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
2. Services
Helios Assistants places and manages dedicated virtual assistants for a monthly retainer. Full service scope, deliverables, and SLAs are described in your client agreement.
3. Billing
Engagements are month-to-month and billed in advance. Cancel any time with 30 days notice. Refunds for partial months are issued at our discretion.
4. Replacements
If your VA isn't the right fit, we'll deploy a replacement within 3–7 business days at no extra cost. Outlined fully in your client agreement.
5. Confidentiality
Every Helios Assistants team member and VA signs a confidentiality agreement before accessing your systems.
6. Non-circumvention
You agree not to directly engage, hire, or contract any VA introduced by Helios Assistants except through us, during your engagement and for twelve (12) months after it ends. This protects the placement we sourced and manage; contact us if you'd like to discuss hiring a VA directly.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use our services for unlawful purposes, to direct a VA to perform unlawful or deceptive tasks, or to ask a VA to act as a licensed professional they are not. You are responsible for supervising the day-to-day work you assign.
8. SMS / text messaging
If you opt in, you may receive service-related text messages (such as appointment confirmations and reminders). Message frequency varies and message/data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle mobile information.
9. Indemnification
You will indemnify Helios Assistants against claims arising from your acts, your business decisions, tasks you directed, or your breach of these Terms.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Helios Assistants's liability is limited to the fees paid in the preceding three months, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages or for the acts, errors, or omissions of a VA performing work you directed.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
